Full description
Aerial photographs taken in June 1946 and October 1947 show an experimental “floodlight” standing in a field to the W of Lawford Lane, Writtle. The base of its generator building can be made out a few yards away to its SE. <1> <2>
An aerial photograph taken in March 1948 shows both structures gone and the area is a ploughed field. <3>
