Summary
Floodlight
Full description
An aerial photograph taken in October 1946 shows the clear shape of an experimental “floodlight” in the corner of a field to the W of Mashbury Hall. The base of the generator building can be seen a few yards away to the S. <1>
In 2005, this area has changed considerably with the removal of hedgerows and the addition of tree plantations. The exact site of the floodlight is now within an E/W belt of trees.
