Full description

An aerial photograph taken in June 1946 shows the soil marks of an experimental “floodlight” in a meadow to the W of Woodhall Hill, Chignall. The soil mark of its generator building can be seen a few yards away to the NE. <1>

Nothing now survives and the area is an open arable field.
