Contemporary records state, “Storehouse for Explosives. The Bakery. Map ref. 244182”. (Mil. Ed.) <1>

Peacock Bakery stood at the N end of The Street, Woodham Ferrers. The area is now a small housing development called “Peacocks” with no trace of an ammunition shelter.
