Contemporary records state, “Magazine. Paddock adjoining the Cock Inn. Map ref. 136177”. (Mil. Ed.) <1>
The Cock Inn stands on the N side of High St, Stock, opposite Mill Road. An aerial photograph taken in 1946 shows a number of small fields or paddocks behind the inn with several unidentifiable structures in them. Visited in 2004, the area is now a school, car park and houses. The NGR above is the junction of the 1946 paddock areas. <2>
