Full description
Contemporary records state, “Storehouse for explosives. ‘School Field’, Meadow at rear of School. Map ref. 071310”. (Mil. Ed.) <1>
Visited in 2006, the wartime school has now been converted to a private building, “Wychwood House”, standing on the N side of School Road. To its rear is a large field but nothing of ammunition shelter remains was found at the time of the site visit.
The NGR above is the S side of the field.
