Contemporary records state, “Ammunition shelter. Little Waltham Lodge, Parkland at rear. Map ref. 152312”. (Mil. Ed.) <1>

Little Waltham Lodge stands on the W side of the B1008 at Little Waltham. Behind the house and gardens is a meadow which was known, previously, as The Park. <2> It appears that the ammunition shelter must have stood in this meadow although there is now no signs of any remains.
