Signpost. 1920s/1930s. Cast iron. Manufactured by Maldon Iron Works. A circular section tapered post with flat semicircular parish plate finial reading PARISH OF / ORSETT and E.C.C. / STICK NO BILLS in centre. Three 7-incharms reading (1) CHADWELL 3 / TILBURY FORT (2) HORNDON 2 / LAINDON HILLS 4 ½ (3) BULPHAN 3 ½ / BRENTWOOD 9 B188. Fully engineered and restored by C and C Engineering, 134 Soxton Road, Grays in 2001. <1>
