Full description
Two house plots were being developed and a wathcing brief undertaken.
Plot 1 revealed the site to be highly distrubed and covered by Victorian and modern build up. A large dith running along the northern edge of the plot with 19th and early 20th century refuse disturbed a possible medieval pit that yielded 8 sherds of medieval coarse ware and Mill Green ware, dated to the second half of the 13th century.
Plot 2 was less disturbed and did not reveal any archaeological finds <1>
