Full description

An aerial photograph taken in 1946 shows four anti-tank blocks standing by Maldon Road at the point where it was crossed by the anti-tank ditch. There were two on the N side and two on the S. <1> At the time of the site visit no trace of these blocks were found. The siting is confirmed by contemporary records which state "Road Barrier at 190241" (Military Edition map ref). <2>
