An aerial photograph taken in 1945 shows the indistinct shape of anti-tank obstacles where the anti-tank ditch crosses Woodhill Road.
Full description
The anti-tank ditch of the GHQ Line crossed Woodhill Road at this point. An aerial photograph taken in May 1996 shows two concrete blocks on the north side of the road to bridge the gap between the road and a pond on the north side and the road and ditch on the south side <1>. This barrier is described in contemporary records as a "Road Barrier at 192235" (Military Edition map ref). <2> One photo of site. <3>
