Full description
An aerial photograph taken in May 1946 shows a road barrier where the anti-tank ditch of the GHQ Line crossed Hall Lane. Eight concrete blocks can be seen, three on the west side and five on the east. <1> This site is confirmed by contemporary records which state "Road Barrier at 191231" (Military Edition map ref). <2> One photo of site. <3>
