Summary

Wooden revetments for sluices.

Full description

Wooden revetments for sluices. Two evident systems but only one still in use. There is a concrete inset with a one-way valve system in iron. The parish boundary runs through this sluice, so the wooden revetments may be from an earlier system with the concrete inset being a more recent addition. The site is relatively complete and worth recording due to it being on a probable historic boundary line. <1> <2>

Site Assessment = Would repay recording to allow analogies to be made round the coast..
