Full description
Additions were made to the outbuildings at Cockenach, including the 18th century stable block, in 1833, with more ambitious additions in 1925 <1, 4>. Contact prints indicate that it is no longer planned <2>. The courtyard buildings are 19th-early 20th century in red brick with dark blue brick detail <3>. In 1877 <5> there were other buildings, apparently large barns, to the south; these have disappeared. The layout has also been altered since 1877. For the house and the stable block, see [15803].
