Full description
Air raid shelters were built at The Grove during the Second World War when the estate was owned by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway Company and used as its wartime operating centre <1, 5>. They were recorded before demolition <2>.
The shelters have not been demolished; they are used as bat roosts <4>.
