Full description
The north part of a vertical sided pit (0.62m x 1.7m) was found during evaluation at the rear of the building. The pit was excavated to a depth of 1.5m; the base was not reached. The fill contained ceramic roof tiles (peg tiles), 'broadly dated as medieval or later'; the pit was possibly a soakaway <1>.
