Full description

Hexagonal brick and concrete pillbox (Type 22 but with low doorway <1>) facing N across valley. The whole site is generally overgrown and the E corner of the brickwork is crumbling. The pillbox is flanked by five anti-tank blocks, each 4' 6" high, three to the W and two to the E. Unusually, the E pair still have their brick shuttering intact <2>.
Apparently as at 1992 visit, though close access was not possible <3>.
