Full description
Hexagonal, brick & concrete Type 24 <1> pillbox standing just to the S of the farm buildings of Nyn Manor Farm [30269]. Facing N, behind the steep banks of a brook, the field of fire would have been obstructed by the buildings. Unusually, the pillbox has retained some of the original steel mesh shutters to the loophole apertures <2>.
