Full description
A brick and concrete, hexagonal pillbox totally hidden under ivy at the W corner of Matham's Wood. Once looking out onto open land from the wood edge it is now completely enclosed but appears to be whole and is probably of the same type as [6936] as the gun apertures measure 28" x 45". In addition, it appears to have only two apertures - on walls facing S and SW over the open ground <1>.
