Full description
Built on the N edge of Mathams Wood, probably to aid camouflage from above. Now very overgrown with trees and scrub <1>. it is diificult to assess <3>. See also [6997, 6998]. The concrete roads/taxiways linking the pen to the ring road have gone <5>. The air raid shelter survives and is 5m x 2.5m long and 2m high <3>.
