Full description

A three-storey red brick corn mill, rectangular in plan, and dated '1802' in iron ties at the north end. Internally it retains much of its three floors together with wheel and machinery. A large iron wheel is on the exterior of the west elevation at first floor level, indicating that in later years it could be worked by traction engine or tractor. The leat has been infilled. The mill was last worked during the Second World War. The building is roofed, and is not considered to be under any threat. It is maintained as a garden feature. {1}

A 3 storey water mill of 1802. Red brick with some purple headers pantile roof with one gable stack. The date is found in the iron ties in the right hand end. The interior has intact floors and iron gear wheels with applewood cogs. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {3}
