PRN 60368
Three Romano-British bronze bracelets, a human skull and other human bones were found in 1966 within a setting of stones on the building site adjoining Ermine Street and Chapel Lane. {1}{2}
More human bones were reported in 1965 at approximately SK 993 577 - possibly from a Roman cemetery. {3}
Human burials, disturbed on the site of a new housing estate, on the west side of Ermine Street, north of the settlement area, may be related to the Roman site. {4}
