Full description
Pallet Hill stands at the edge of a steep slope to the west. Part of the structure extends down the west-facing slope. The sides are very steep with a hollow top. [At the time of writing] a pathway is causing some erosion on the west face. The Ordnance Survey describe the hill as a barrow, although its position, survival, height and earlier descriptions suggest [it is] a motte.
Form: Earthwork (10/1994) (1)(2).
