A hoard of 17 gold coins dating from 1604 to 1632, all struck at the Tower Mint, London, found northwest of Yield Hall in April 1934.

Description

A hoard of 17 gold coins dating from 1604 to 1632, all struck at the Tower Mint, London, found northwest of Yield Hall in April 1934. It is possible that the hoard was buried just before or during the Siege of Reading in 1643. The hoard is in Reading Museum <1>.
