Summary

An oak post and plank revetment running parallel to the present course of the Holybrook and some 7m to the south.

Description

An oak post and plank revetment was observed running 7m south, and parallel to the present course of the Holybrook. Probably associated with the Minster Mill stream. A 14th to 15th century date for the feature is by analogy to other sites in Reading <1>.
