Description

Re-deposited material, probably riverine was found during an archaeological evaluation. It post-dates features 110 and 132 of blue-grey silts of clay silts with numerous snail shells and fragments of brick and tile. Truncated by modern cuts. One of these riverine deposits contained a fine red earthernware sherd of c.17th-c.18th date <1>.
