A level platform of truncated brickearth was excavated and four medieval building phases were identified.

Description

A level platform of truncated brickearth was excavated. It contained buildings, yard surfaces, pits. Four medieval phases were identified (phase 2-5) represented by structures, features and finds. Phase 3 was identified as the principal building phase <1>.
