Description
2 medieval tiles found by Underhill in a trench opposite the Kings Head Pub in Church Street. A medieval storage pot found in the cellar of 25 Thames Street, Windsor. It is red with dark brown lead glaze. It has two large lug handles, three moulded bands at handle level and heavy over turned rim. Also found a 14th century sherd, grey ware, pink slip, green glaze. Portion of lug handle survives. Original pot at least 15 inches in diameter.
