Summary

A causeway of brickearth found running south from platform of buildings and giving access between the two ditches (north-south).

Description

A causeway of brickearth found running south from platform of buildings and giving access between the two ditches (north-south). Retained with supporting chalk kerbs, signs of mortar. Structure possibly extended with timber, as suggested by paired postholes. Base at terminal of channel/ ditches retained by 2 oak planks <1>.
