Ridge and furrow at Ditton Park visible on aerial photographs.

Description

Ridge and furrow visible on aerial photographs <2-4>. It is best defined on west of area. It is bounded on the south by a bank with ditches on its south and (less well defined) on its north. The ridge and furrow showing on aerial photographs to the north of the moat, may indicate medieval cultivation preceding the extension of the park over this area <1>.
