Albrighton Station opened on 12/11/1849. Two platformed station E of underbridge with its own access road. Simple brick buildings with the main ones on the S platform. Canopies and ornate GWR-pattern footbridge added 1888. Goods yard and loco shed to E and S. <6>
Photographs taken 24th July 2017. The goods yard and loco shed have now gone. <7>
