Description

One of the canal bridges on the Shropshire Union Canal. A watching brief on the construction of a new bridge during the restoration of the canal noted only a fragment of the original structure (part of one of the brick wing walls, and even this had been covered over again before the archaeologist could record it). <1>

This canal bridge had previously been converted to a culvert. <2>
