Description
An extensive water meadow and drainage system was clearly visible on aerial photographs in fields surrounding the Medieval motte and bailey castle at More (PRN 01224). To the north of the castle at SO 3401 9153, blocks of ridge and furrow (PRN 28591) are visible lying inside the drained area. These features are considered to be Medieval or Post Medieval in date and were mapped during the Marches Uplands Mapping Project. (Morph No. MU.410.11) <1>
