Description
Milepost dated 1984. Cast iron. Short Cylindrical round-topped post with curved square plates to front. 2 to top and one rectangular plate to bottom. Superscribed lettering reads "NEWTOWN / 30 / MILES " (left-hand Side) "WELSH / FRANKTON / 5 MILES " (right-Hand Side) "MONTGOMERY / CANAL " (bottom). A lozenge bearing the legend "MWRT / 1984" is mounted below. <1>
