Description

Gronwen Wharf cottage dates to c.1870 on the site of an earlier building. Former two (now one) Shropshire Union Canal company cottages in the site of a former canal loading wharf. Described as ruinous during survey in 1993. The wharf is a rare relic of the early 19th century Morda coalfield. <1>
