Description

A chalybeate well is marked here on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map [<2>]. The remains of a stone built building survive here. Berrow's Worcester Journal of August 20th 1840 noted that "there is a strong chalybeate spring lately discovered at the foot of the [Clee] hill and enclosed in a small building and which is left open for the public to have the benefit of the water free of any expense". <1>
