Description

Small two platformed village station E of roadbridge and W of a canal bridge Main buildings on N platform 'neat and unpretending, yet commodious'; shelter added to S side later, as well as a signal box. <1>

Shown on 2nd edition of Ordnance Survey 1:2500 map. Shows station buiding to N of railway line with second platform to S. Signal Box to E and S of line. Station Cottages further to E and N of line. <2>

Station House was built at a later date and did not form part of the original station. Photograph taken 18th July 2017. <3>
