Description

Substantially constructed rest block for WWII airmen, much as 50265, now in a mixed species plantation alongside the B4394 road to Walcot. Dimensions: 12.70m long x 3.60m wide. Now almost completely concealed by plantation woodland. <1>

Visited in management/condition survey in 2015. One of two extant sleeping shelters [see PRN 33827] of four built. Photographic record. <2>
