Description
A series of anchor shaped earthworks overall 50m x 40m and 3m high designed to harbour aircraft, recorded by the NTSMR. A concrete air raid shelter was built into the back accessible from both bays. Constructed in 1941, levelled by Mr Basil Marsh c.1975, now ploughed. Site of an associated flight office between emplacement and Ravenshaws Gorse.
