Description

A curving offshoot (not titled) of the Montgomery Canal (PRN 00927) providing direct access by canal boat to Maesbury Corn Mill PRN 15527. <1>

This offshoot is depicted, although the corn mill is not. <2>

The southern part of this former canal offshoot is depicted where it joins the Montgomery Canal. <3><4>

The canal offshoot went out of use in 1932. <5>

The survival of this southern section was confirmed during a field investigation of this section of the canal in September 1995. <6>
