NoneFull Description
Stretch of Roman Road running west to east from Catcliffe to Oldcotes. Two sections of the road were uncovered during an excavation in 1954, running west to east just north of Spa House. It is believed that this route may have connected Brough to Bawtry which eventually joined up with Lincoln (see PIN 04914).
According to I. Margary’s Roman Road’s in Britain in 1973 this section of road corresponds to Margary number 189.
