Full Description
Water tanks 135 and 136 were constructed in 1952-3 <1> and are marked on the Fifth Edition OS map of 1969 <4>. They were located to the east of Building 134 <1> and were steel water towers with a rectangular plan covering and area of approx. 110m2. They were the main water towers for ‘technical area’ site E and demolished in 2005.
