Summary

Former location of a large shed built as a workshop on the USAF base in the early 1980s

Full Description

Building 167 was a workshop, stores and offices of the Civil Engineering Squadron <1>. It was constructed in modern brick with metal cladding to its gables and two doors in both gable ends.

It was built in c. 1981 on the east side of Engineers Road <2><4>. It was a large, rectangular, single span shed with a deep brick plinth and roller shutters on the loading bay doors at each end. It had some internal partitioning for the offices and stores.

It was demolished at some time between 2010 <5> and 2018 <6>.
