Early C.19. Two storeys red brick, three sashes. Ground floor has central round headed door with fanlight. Hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves.

Full Description
The first Catholic church on London Road, Newbury, was built in 1864 <1><4> adjoining a Georgian villa and it is presumed that this latter building was used from the start as a Presbytery, ie for the priest's accommodation; this name is marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey, 1:500 scale <2> and on 21st century mapping. The house was listed at Grade II in 1983, being described as an early 19th century double fronted villa of two storeys <3>.
