Full Description
A bridge at this location designed by Brunel was built of brick as part of the Berks & Hants Railway in 1847, but the modern bridge dates from the late 19th century: the deck is of steel beam construction <1>. A planning application to modify the bridge to allow for electrification was approved in 2014.
