Summary

Former location of a railway footbridge from the early to the late 20th century

Full Description

The footbridge at the southern end of Pipers Lane is shown on the Fourth epoch OS map of 1932 <1> and on later historic mapping of 1967. The date of demolition remains to be supplied. Oddly, the bridge is listed in a 2012 gazetteer of railway structures expected to be affected by electrification <2>.
