Full Description
The Newbury East Junction signal box is shown on the Third epoch OS map of 1911 <1> (to control access to and from the Didcot line) and the building appears on the Fifth epoch OS map of 1969 <2>.
The signal box was provided in 1910 and replaced an earlier box of 1882 <3>. The box was demolished following replacement with colour light signalling in the late 1970s.
