Full Description

A level crossing at this location is shown on the First epoch OS map of 1879 <1> but dates to the construction of the Berks & Hants Railway in 1847. It is shown on historic mapping up to the Fifth edition OS map of 1969 <2> but not on modern mapping. The date of its removal remains to be established.
