Full Description
This bridge was constructed as part of the Lambourn Valley Railway in 1898. It is shown on the Second Edition OS map of 1899 <1> and subsequent historic mapping up to the Fifth Edition of 1968. The railway closed in 1972 but the bridge remains in the early 21st century, although the cutting and bridge tunnel were filled in after a 2008 planning application <2>.
