Full Description
A school building on Newtown Road is marked on the OS First edition map of 1880 <1> and shown on subsequent historic mapping up to the Fifth edition map of 1967 <2>. Information held by the Berkshire Record Office indicates that it was in operation from 1867 <3>. In 1985 the school merged with Eastfields County Infant School <5> and was relocated to a new building off Old Newtown Road <6>.
